Install two new mushroom style lights for the second floor hall. Currently lights are older and customer would like newer fixtures for the area.
We have restored the lights and power to the addition area of home. We strongly recommend having the aluminum wiring in the home terminated properly at all receptacles, switches, light boxes and equipment.
Today’s visit was for customer supplied light switches but stopped working. The lightbulbs in the fixtures also needed to be replaced. See below for work performed. Replace (2) customer supplied Honeywell switches
Arrived onsite and looked at the following items: Install new exhaust fan with light fan combo in hall bath, will need to be ducted. The attic will need to be cleared of items on that end, and the plywood pulled up to have access to the ceiling. Remove single gang switch for vanity light, and extend to a two gang, one switch will control the vanity, one will be an over under for the new fan light combo. Convert aluminum to copper in gang box in bathroom. We will also remove the microwave that is existing, remove the outlet that’s in the cabinet, and alumicon switch over to a copper wire and run that down to the new customer supplied hood fan. We will also have duct the hood fan out the side of the house as well.
Removal of old wiring to fuse box. Install new 200 amp panel with service disconnect Whole home surge protection We will pull electrical permit. We remove the old electric panel and then install a new 200 amp pan on its place. We had removed the old illegal wiring that was running through the home and installed a new cable underneath of the house in the crawlspace. We installed a new service disconnect on the front of the home and all new service cable to replace the old deteriorating cable. We installed new grounding system, which included 28 foot ground rods, as well as binding of the hot and cold water lines in the basement. Once completed, we went through and labeled the panel with the customer.
