Hass and Sons is not a discount electrical service, but if you are more interested in all work being done professionally, you can't do better. I have had 2 different electricians (and an apprentice) and all have been friendly, efficient and able to deal with whatever is required. My only complaint (and its minor since I keep bringing them back to do more work) iss that I wish they would start earlier. 03/23/2026 For this job, we came out for (2) fixture replacements and estimated more work that was completed today including; (3) 4” baffle light utilizing existing peninsula switch leg. We replaced all of the exterior receptacles with WRTR GFCI and new in use covers, demoed flood lights on back porch and extended (2) circuits to outside on basement patio and installed new WRTR GFCI’s with in use covers. We still need to obtain a Brushed Nickel floor plate receptacle cover and receptacle for replacement. We are to return to replace once our replacement arrives at shop. For this job, we came out to perform an annual maintenance inspection where we went over all the items on the list. We estimated work that we strongly suggested, be done for safety reasons being the service replacement as the panel was full with tandems, (2) AC circuits requiring 30A 240V breaker each were double tapped on a 40A 240V, there was no surge protection and loose connections on the breakers that I was ab

For this job, we came out to replace a fixture box with a fan rated box as the original light fell off the box, we then installed a customer supplied ceiling fan. I also took a quick look in the panel and noticed no home surge protection as well as improperly wired multi wire branch circuits and suggested we update for increased electrical safety. Reason for today’s visit was to assess installing a customer supplied level two Tesla charger. Main panel is completely maxed out and it’s only 150 A. There is currently 37 circuits and the panel, as well as as a generator breaker. The main panel is only listed to handle 30 circuits max. We would need to replace the main panel and being that we are installing an additional load as well as customers consider considering replacing his oil furnace to electric down the road we recommended upgrading to at least 200 A. Today we provide a pricing for an option and saw a 200 amp service with the new charger circuit and customer supply charger install. We also provided additional pricing to supply and install two new Bluetooth floodlights on the pier at the time of completion of the other Work.
