Ray Garnett was very thorough and provided exceptional service. He looked at everything, discussed his plan, and provided an estimate with 3 alternatives at different price points. He started work the same day after I selected the alternative and provided approval. He needed to order a part and came back out 2 weeks later to finish the installation of the new attic exhaust fan. I tried for more than 2 years to get an estimate to replace the attic exhaust fan with several contractors to include different electricians, roofers, and construction contractors. I met with each of them and they looked at the attic space, but they never gave an estimate or returned a phone call. Haas & Sons Electric Inc. was different. They asked what type of work I wanted to have done when I scheduled the appointment and were flexible to work with my schedule. And when Ray came out he was very knowledgeable and professional and started to do the work the same day. I will definitely use Haas and Sons for my next project and request Ray to do the work.

I would not recommend Tyler based on my experience. From the beginning, there was constant miscommunication and, more importantly, no clear diagnosis of the actual problem. I was specifically told that I needed a new thermostat, so I spent my own money purchasing and installing one. After doing exactly what I was instructed to do, Tyler then told me he could not verify whether the thermostat was ever actually the problem. That is extremely frustrating and unacceptable. Instead of properly diagnosing the original issue, I was presented with recommendations for thousands of dollars worth of additional services that did not address the problem I originally called about. I was essentially being asked to spend a significant amount of money without a clear explanation of what was actually wrong. When Tyler returned the following day because the problem was still occurring, he finally admitted that he did not have the ability to diagnose the actual cause. The entire experience felt like guesswork rather than professional troubleshooting. I wasted money on a thermostat based on his recommendation, received conflicting information, was quoted thousands of dollars in unnecessary additional work, and ultimately still did not have an answer to the original problem. If a technician cannot determine the cause of the problem, they should be upfront about that from the beginning instead of confidently recommending replacements and expensive services. I expected professional diagnosis and clear communication, and I received neither.

Tyler is fantastic! Extremely friendly, very personable, and very knowledgeable. He takes the time to explain what he's doing, and answers all questions no matter how trivial. He is definitely the one we will always ask for when calling Haas and sons electric!

The Electrician was professional and arrived on time. He used cover for his shoes in the house and was courteous and knowledgeable. The electrician's inspection confirmed the homeowner's impression of the problem and viability of a cost-effective resolution.
