Very happy with the service provided by Ian at Haas & Sons. He was very knowledgeable, thorough, put safety first and was straightforward and accommodating, and fair. He resolved issues I had in one visit that were lingering on for years. Will definitely recommend Ian and Hass & Sons. I intend to continue by business relationship with them for years to come.
For this call, I came out to assess whether or not it would be practical for the homeowner to replace his existing 200A service. I provided an estimate and educated the customer that the CH vertical style main breakers or no longer made and there is a potential for them to fail and not be able to be replaced, leading to then an Emergency Panel replacement, suggesting it would be better to get ahead of it. Customer also requested an estimate for a dedicated circuit in the kitchen to split the load of multiple counter top appliances causing occasional overload. Customer also had a few miscellaneous repairs needed, which were made today in addition to the whole home surge protector installation, which can we transferred to new panel upon replacement, as it is required. The reason for today’s visit was to replace exterior lighting. When I arrived, I met with Mr. Mark, who showed me the four new lights he’d like to have installed in the place of the two coach lights at the front door and the two coach lights at the garage door. I checked the switches that controlled the lights, which were newer decoras and asked Mr. Mark if he would like to renew his VIP membership. At this time, he elected to just install the new lights. I’ve mounted the new lights, siliconed the fixtures to ensure they are resistant, and the new lights are working well. - Removal of two garage coach lights and replacment with customer-supplied light fixtures - Installation of two customer-supplied coach lights at front door

Called out today to take a look at damaged light post in customers neighbors yard that had been ran over. The initial light post that the customer had supplied would not work for this application as it was made to be installed flush mount. The customer then picked up a replacement light post that we could install into the ground. We dug out and removed remnants of previous light post, and checked wiring to ensure no damage was done to the conductors and we had proper voltage. We set and leveled the new light post into the same hole and filled said hole with an expanding compound to fill hole and give light a strong base. We refilled excess dirt back into dug out areas and mounted the light head on pole. The light pole will be controlled by photocell device and additionally has a receptacle built into pole. The reason for today’s visit was to change a few things following the project completed on 9/17. When I arrived, I met with Ms. Toni, who asked for the three-way switches for the basement hall light and the foyer chandelier to be altered so that the toggle of the switches matched when the lighting in both areas was off. She also asked for the basement switch-controlled receptacle to be rewired to be constant hot as opposed to leaving it switch-controlled. Lastly, they decided that they wanted a dimmer after the installation of the new dining room chandelier, and wanted it changed from the toggle switch initially installed. Today I rewired the 3-way switches for both locations, rewired the basement hall switch to ensure the receptacle it controlled always stays on, and the toggle switch for the dining room chandelier has been swapped for a new decora dimmer. - removal of standard toggle switch and installation of dimmer for dining area chandelier - Rewiring of basement switch to turn s
Came in and diagnosed the issue and provided options on exhaust fan repair. Did well installing the necessary components (new fan and duct work) and cleaned up nicely afterward.

We will replace an exhaust fan that is no longer functioning correctly. While doing this repair we will re- route the duct work to a nearby soffit so that the steam is able to exhaust out of the home which will prevent moisture buildup in the attic.
All aspects of my experience, from setting up the appointment, to when they got to my home, to the performance of the work as well as providing estimates for other work I am interested to have done, were exceptional!

Haas staff notified me of their intended arrival, and brought the correct light for replacement with them. They completed the job quickly and I am very satisfied with the result.
Ray installed a ceiling outlet and fan surprisingly quickly. With skill and persistence, he installed the wiring by going into a limited-space attic, thereby avoiding the need to make unsightly cuts into the room's wall and ceiling. He was careful to follow code and properly interconnect the new wiring to the house's 1969 aluminum wiring. He also installed a new 240-volt outlet in our garage, with a new cable from the main breaker box, maintaining care to minimize cuts into the drywall. He cleaned up thoroughly afterwards and explained all aspects of his service, including the need to install new circuit breakers for safety measures. His service was definitely over the top. Highly recommended.
