Arrived onsite and was shown to the main electrical panel and where the hot tub hooks up to. It runs outside to an older spa disconnect which the hot tub tech reportedly told the resident, the breaker is bad so call us to have it replaced. I started by testing the power at the hot tub disconnect and testing continuity to all the hot tub wires going out to the tub. I found resistance between the ground and neutral with other conductors while the tub was hooked up. I was told the hot tub tech came out, replaced the heater, and then said it wont work because of the breaker. For testing purposes I replaced the breaker with a standard and tested to see if there was any voltage bleeding onto the ground or neutral, and it was mainly on the ground. I then proceeded to have the resident open the front panel of the hot tub so I could take a look inside and test further. Upon inspection i found the terminal block for the line side wires coming in from the spa disconnect, was very loose and the sc

Today’s visit was for exterior light not working. During my assessment, I noticed there were multi feed circuits on single pole breakers and neutrals under the same terminal within the panel. There was 120V at fixture. I also tried to replace the bulbs to make sure it was indeed the fixture. The fixture also has what looks like a birds nest inside. Please see below for work performed today: Install (2) matching Haas and Sons supplied fixtures

Was called out to install ceiling fans in (3) bedrooms and (1) exterior light. Upon my assessment, I noticed there were many multi feed circuits in the panel on single pole breakers. Also, the gas line was not bonded. I do recommend getting surge protection in the future to protect your home and all of your appliances as well. Work performed today: Install (3) ceiling fans in upstairs bedrooms Replace (1) exterior light on back deck Replace single pole breakers with two pole breakers for multi feed circuits Bond gas line from panel to manifold

Todays visit was to assess power loss to the garage lights, laundry area lights, mudroom, sink light and the back door lights. I went through the circuit I tested all the wires to see where the issue was. I found that the circuit and question was on a multi feed which meant it was on a common trip breaker with the sump pump. I never down the issue to a jumper in the middle of the circuit. Yes you ended up being on the switch leg from the sink light to the switch itself. It appears as though when the siding was being done on the back of the house and they all went through and tipped the wire. I was able to free the wire from the nail and it is no longer tripping. I did explain to the customer that this may not be a permanent fix and that I would suggest future issues. Customer declined at this time as it would mean I would have to take down the cabinet and cut holes in the ceiling and wall. Then offered an alternate solution of tapping off the recessed light right next to it so it would
