We replaced front and back outlets with new weatherproof devices and new in-use (bubble) covers. I put silicone around the new cover to make sure moisture does not get to the outlets when power washing. I installed a new outlet behind the tv in the living room. I tapped power out of the basement unfinished room. I cut 3 holes and screwed them back in placed and put the first coat of mud on for the customer. They will be taking care of the rest of the drywall repair.
Installed a new 20 map circuit for pool pump. Circuit is ran in 12-2 romex from panel to junction box outside then switches to thhn and goes through the pipe to the new plug next to the pool pump. Also ran a isolated ground for the motor and frame of pool. Circuit is on a dual function breaker so gfci protection is at panel. Verified proper operation of all completed work with customer.
Customer had a power outage in kitchen effecting the microwave, counter top plugs, and dining plugs.. microwave should be on a dedicated circuit. Provided quote for microwave circuit and surge protector. Customer also has a disposal that is not working, verified 120 volts at disposal so problem is internal.
Cut neutrals off neutral bar that were burnt and extremely dangerous. I spliced them to new wires and landed them on different spots on the neutral bar. THIS IS NOT A PERMANENT FIX The neutral bar is comprised and so are many of the breaker terminals We highly recommend installing a new electrical panel ASAP If the customer moves forward with a panel estimate we provided within two weeks of this date may 27th 2021 we will use the 260 dollar bandaid today to the overall cost of the panel job
Removed and replace all devices on circuit which was the devices in both guest bedrooms most of the mast bedroom the hallway light and the hallway bathroom on 2nd floor. Also the kitchen lights I spliced all my appropriate wires together then pig tailed off the splice with one wire then stripped the wire, hooked it around the device screw and clamped it then tightened it down. This is the best possible connection possible. The outlets and switches that were there previously were 30 years old and some had burnt from being back stabbed so customer was loosing power then the power would come back on its own which is dangerous. I also installed two pole breakers where they are required for 14-3 wires in panel and I installed a micro surge protector for the whole home. The 2 pole 15 amp BR arc fault breaker is on back order and we will order that ASAP and once it comes in we will notify the customer so we can come out and install arc fault protection on the circuit I worked on Customer wa
