Today’s visit was for EV charger receptacle overheating. During assessment, we did notice discoloration on the receptacle. Voltage reading in the panel at the breaker, and on the receptacle itself was proper voltage. The receptacle that it was connected to was a standard range receptacle, so we replaced it with an EV charger rated receptacle. Please let us know if you have any questions. Have a great day!

Installation of new 200 amp panel to replace current outdated Sylvania panel that has multiple hazards inside of it. With new panel installation, we would replace current grounding and bonding in the home by running new bare ground wire from utility room to the panel, installing new ground rods, installing new whole home emergency disconnect which is required by county, and a whole home surge protector to further assist in protection of the electrical panel and the home appliances. Comes with all materials, permits, inspections by county and organizing BGE. Due to age and integrity of devices in home a whole home re-device has been recommended to bring new life to old hazardous outlets and also add GFCI protection where it is required. Installation of (8) new recess lighting located in the living room. The installation comes with Pico and Casetta dimmers for the living room and dining room. Excludes patching and painting.

The reason for today’s visit was to quote the home owner on replacement of her panel and adding recess lighting located in the dining room and living room. When meeting customer, i was then shown the areas where she would like the new lights to be installed. After viewing the rooms i began my assessment where her and i walked through the home and began to discuss things the inspector pointed out. All devices in the home were old and outdated and had zero integrity left. Multiple outlets showed “reverse polarity” and most outlets did not have proper GFCI protection. After viewing the devices customer showed me where her panel was located. The panel was a 200 amp split bus Sylvania panel with multiple issues. The panel was original to the home and I recommended to the customer that it should be replaced. After viewing the panel the customer and I began talking about her options or repairs/replacements. Customers husband is military so i did provide quotes with that discount showing. All

The customer originally called due to a lamp post light out front that was damage resulting in the circuit tripping. When i got to the home i saw a pvc pipe coming out front to the lamp post so i went into the basement to find the wire. The customers request was to turn that wire that went to the lamp post into a receptacle at the front of the home so they could plug in low-voltage lighting so while I was in the basement I wanted to make sure that the panels were safe so we can perform the work customer has a 400 amp service with two 200 amp Cutler hammer panels but I did notice that there was no surge protection other than that the panels were in great condition and so was the SEU cable from the meter into the panels themselves are brought up the surge protection to the customer and he thought that would be a good idea to install to protect his homes electronics and homes utilities from potential power surges. While we were out front talking about the pricing the customers also brou

customer had a leak in the 1st floor bathroom which leaked into the box for the receptacle causing the wires to be damaged and the inside of the receptacle to be affected which in result kept tripping the master bathroom gfci I removed all receptacles on bathroom circuit and spliced all appropriate wires together then pig tailed off the splice with a single wire making the best and safest possible connections throughout the circuit. Then i installed a gfci in each bathroom and line sided all the gfcis so if one trips it doesnt affect the others throughout the bathrooms in the home.
