The reason for today’s visit with customer was a scheduled appointment to quote adding a receptacle to his garage for an EV charger port. After greeting with customer, we then went to the garage and assessed the area of where the charger plug would go. I saw a 3/4 inch EMT run that went to the panel ran in 6 THHN stranded copper conductor. The customer stated he had a universal plug adapter for the current tesla charger and he wanted to optimize his charging capabilities. After going over the details we then were taken to the panel which was located in the back bedroom on the second floor. The panel was a 2011 Siemens 150 amp panel with dual function breakers and one mix-matched Eaton BR breaker. I recommended to the customer we replaced the incorrect breaker along with any work he decided on scheduling for the EV charger. I went over two options for the EV charger such as the customer buying an actual wall unit EV charger and us installing it or us installing a 240v 50 amp receptacle

Installation of new customer supplied ceiling fan located in the bedroom on the second floor. With installation, turning current switch controlled outlet into a constant hot outlet and replacing the switch that currently controls that outlet.

This solution includes the installation/relocation of 2 existing receptacles to a new and higher height located within the new built in cabinet. We have relocated the existing wire for the 2 receptacles. Once the built in cabinet is in place customer to install the boxes. Arc fault protection installed in panel. Circuit was tested and works, however it shall remain off until cabinet completion.

installation of new GFCI located in primary bathroom on second floor with properly terminating aluminum wiring with alumicon connectors. With doing so removing current single gang outlet and replacing with a 2gang outlet to further assist alumicon connectors and adding another receptacle protected by the current GFCi. Installation of GFCi located in hall bath on second floor and properly terminating.

This solution includes the installation of new decora switches in the kitchen area, 9 total. In addition we shall replace the 3 pendant lights with new customer supplied lighting. We shall correct the chandelier height. We have installed the new customer supplied lighting in the kitchen. In addition we have replaced existing switches in the kitchen area. 8 total.

Reason for today’s visit was to assess power loss to the primary bedroom as well as the garage lights. Customer stated the breaker had tripped a few times, and now would not reset. I checked the main panel and found that the breaker controlling the affected circuit was dead shorting immediately when trying to be reset. First thing I did was open up the panel and found that most of the circus have been transferred down to a sub panel below the main which had a hook up for a back up portable generator. The main panel was a 200 amp Square D panel that was original to the home. There was another 200 amp Square D panel next to this panel that had been replaced. For whatever reason the left panel was never replaced. The right panel appears to have been replaced but without a permit. There was never surge protection installed or emergency disconnects. And then began troubleshooting the circuit at the garage, because customer stated he had previous issues with the garage switch. When I opened

Trouble shoot tripping gfi New wire seemed to be damage or poorly installed causing gfci to trip in garage next to panel

This estimate includes the installation of a customer supplied fixture in the master closet. We shall return when customer supplied material arrives. Customer has paid in full. We have installed the customer supplied wafer light in the master bedroom closet.

Upon inspection I found broken wires and loose splices using purple wire nuts in box for receptacle to the left of the stove that feeds the outlet for the microwave too. I will properly splice and alumicon the copper to aluminum splice and fix the broken splice and get 120 volts back to the microwave outlet in cabinet above the stove.

I removed and replaced a customer supplied chandelier outside of home over top the front door. I installed it the same height as the previous chandelier as per customer request.

Service charge

Reason for today’s visit was to assess power loss to the water heater fan and the sump pump. Customer stated when they return from vacation they noticed they didn’t have any hot water and there’s some pump wasn’t working. She then took me to the panel where I noticed that in arc fault breaker was in the trip position. Customer was attempting to turn it back on without putting it in the office position then resetting it back on. I showed customer how to properly reset the breaker and power was restored to the GFCI for the sump pump and water heater fan.

This estimate includes the installation of a 240V 20A dedicated circuit for the new mini split AC system on side of home. We shall terminate circuit into a disconnect. In addition we shall diagnose the and make safe the abandoned baseboard heater wiring. We shall also install a whole home surge protector and correct the double tapped neutral wires in the panel. Lastly we shall install arc fault protection for the aluminum 120V circuits in the home. We have installed the new circuit and disconnect for the mini-split AC unit on the side of home. We shall return next Friday to complete the remaining work. We have returned and installed the arc-fault breakers, surge protector and we have deleted the abandoned wires in panel associated with the baseboard heaters. We have also tested wiring at baseboard heater locations and ensured they are not live.

This solution includes: Removing gfci sump pump and installing a audio gfci Installing a gfci on water heater I removed standard gfci that the sump pump was plugged into which also controlled the plug for the water heater. And i spliced all appropriate wires together then pig tailed off the splice and landed a single wire on the line side. I installed a audio gfci for sump pump so customer will hear gfci if it trips. If the sump pump continues to trip customer should call plumber as there is a ground fault in the sump pump unit or cord. I also installed a gfci for the water heater. I line sided these gfics so if one trips it will not affect the other plug #review

We installed a new weather resistant gfci with in-use heavy duty cover for a future tv out back. We also fixed a wiring issue that was present in the kitchen. #review

This estimate includes the installation of 10 exterior lights to spot light on the front of home. In addition we shall install 2 transformers to avoid trenching under the sidewalk. We have taken deposit and shall return December 2nd to complete the installation. We have installed the new customer supplied lighting. In addition we have mounted the transformers.

We have installed the customer supplied ceiling fixtures in the kitchen, dining room and stairwell. When the foyer light arrives, we shall return to install fixture. All lighting is now supported by properly rated boxes. We have returned and installed the customer supplied ceiling fixture in the foyer area. In addition we have installed a new brace box to support the weight of the new fixture.

I installed a customer supplied car charger I ran 6-2 romex from the main electrical panel into a 1900 box under the panel then i ran 3/4 in pvc and 90 degreed up into the tesla car charger I landed the wires and then landed the wires into the 200 amp square d qo panel (customer has 400 amp service) i installed a 60 amp 2 pole breaker and tested everything when completed Labeled it on the panel Customer has a 18 month warranty

We have repaired the wiring to the exterior fan, including replacing the box where it was fed from and breaker replacement. In addition we have replaced and sealed the exterior receptacle controlling the rear exterior lighting to deck and landscape.

We came out to fix the attic fans years ago but one of the splices came loose so I respliced it and the attic fan came back on

Customer wanted a new doorbell I checked the doorbell system and found the adapter for the doorbell chime was damaged so I installed a new customer supplied doorbell and adapter to the chime
