The reason for today’s visit was to provide a solution on installation of a new level 2 EV charger. When i arrived, i saw a 200 amp QO panel that had a few signs of concerns. I saw multiple shared neutral circuits as well as double taps on grounds and neutrals. I spoke to the home owner on which ways he would like to power the EV charger. We came up with two solutions, one being a dedicated circuit by way of the garage and into a hardwired EV. The second option would be installing a new dedicated sub panel located in garage running a 100 amp service. Customer will take some time to consider the options and give a call back if deciding to move forward.

Arrived onsite and took apart the hall bath exhaust fan and saw how old it was, and they want to replace it with a fan light combo in its place. They also showed me the master bath exhaust fan which as newer, but had a humidity sensor causing problems so i went and unplugged the humidity sensor and bipassed it so their fan works via the switch only. I also took a look at an outside light that was flickering and old that they wanted replaced. They don’t have the light today and we don’t have the fan nearby so we ended up scheduling for 2/25 so they can have the light, and we can come back with the fan. I put the fan back together for now and closed back up the attic access and took a deposit. Arrived onsite 2/25 and removed the old fan, covered the bathroom in plastic and swappped the old exhaust fan out for the new one. Once installed i tested and verified it working.
