Was called out to provide estimate for new bathroom exhaust fan in first floor bathroom. During performance and safety assessment I found a few other issues I brought to homeowners attention and provided and emailed estimates for the issues I found and reason we were called out

Reason for today’s visit was to assess power loss in the living room receptacles as well as the front light switch. But initial inspection customer stated he was doing some work mounting shelving units on the living room wall. My first thought was that a screw had went through one of the wires possibly. After opening up the GFCI receptacle on the wall next to the freezer in the living room I found that the screws had not been tightened up very well which allows the wires to pop out of the back on the line side. I put the wires back in and tightened the screws up properly and power was restored to the circuit. Inform customer consider replacing remaining devices in home that were original were older as he could have power loss issues again with some of them all devices. The GFCI that caused this issue appears as though it’s been replaced within the past few years but it was not one we had put in.

Reason for today’s visit was to assess power loss issue to the top floor loft kitchen area. Upon inspection I found there’s a small subpanel in a closet that had a breaker hanging halfway out. When I remove the cover and pull the breaker out I found at the bus bar behind the breaker had severe signs of arcing and burn damage. We provide a solution to replace the sub panel with a new six circuit sub panel with new breakers to remedy this issue.

Replaced sink light in the kitchen with a new customer supplied light. We replaced broken switch that controlled the kitchen light as well as the newly installed light. We installed a new customer supplied ceiling fan in the office on the 1st floor. Replaced broken dimmer in the 2nd floor main bathroom.

We have troubleshot and repaired the 4th floor wet bar receptacles/circuit. We have installed a new arc fault breaker and GFCI receptacle. In addition we have replaced the microwave breaker with a new arc fault breaker.

I Installed a 50 amp circuit for a car charger I went through the bottom of the panel and cut a piece of drywall out so I could run my 6-3 romex in the walls. Then I went through a stud and on the other side I mounted the customer supplied car charger I brought my wires through the back of the box left slack in the wall in case the customer wants to change the hard wired charger to a plug in on a future date. Then I landed my wires in the panel. Went a got a 50 amp GFCI 2 pole br breaker I then screwed the drywall back to the stud and put a layer of spackle over it to cover it. Then I installed a micro surge protector in the panel at the bottom and landed that on a 2 pole 15 amp breaker. Tested everything and it all works. Also moved some double tapped neutrals and separated them under their own screws Customer has a 18 month warranty on all work preformed

Installed new 50 amp circuit for an electric rapid car charger. We supplied electric permit and had county inspect work once completed.
