Replacement of one GFCi in the bathroom. The cause of the loss of power was a failed GFCI in the bathroom downstairs. We recommended replacement of this gfci as well as the space heater receptacle. The customer declined this and requested only replacing the GFCI at this time. The work was completed and the GFCI was replaced. Upon our departure the power was restored to the circuit.

We have determined that the breaker for microwave tripped. We recommend replacing the existing breaker and gfci protection for microwave circuit. In addition we strongly recommend having the ITE panel replaced as it lacks a main breaker and over 30years old.

Customer purchased a new Tesla and level 2 charger. We installed the new charger next to the main panel located in the front right corner in the garage and wired accordingly. We installed a new 60 amp circuit and installed a 60 BR series breaker to power unit. Once the panel was opened I found that the panel was in excellent condition. The one issue I did find was that the service cable running from the meter to the panel has begun to deteriorate and break apart. This allows water to run inside the cable and corrode the conductors. We round recommend replacing the service cable. I did also notice that there was no surge protection inside the panel as well. Even though they are not enforced by PG county we do highly recommend them (especially with electric cars). I am providing separate quotes for these 2 tasks. This estimate includes the install of a customer supplied vanity light in the powder room. N addition we shall relocate the existing wire in panel to a different breaker. We have installed a new customer supplied fixture in the powder room. In addition we have relocated the foyer lighting circuit to a different breaker. Lastly we have tightened termination at powder room switches.
