Customer called us out because switch in master closet was stuck on. Once i arrived I took a look at the switch and discovered that something inside was broken and it needed to be replaced. After I preformed my inspection i found the following issues. Old challenger panel with corrosion on main lug and box itself, multiple two prong receptacles with no ground, very old switches from 1938 along with a rusty meter can and service cable straps. I recommended we replace panel and meter can along with swap out the older switches and plugs. I fixed the broken switch today but will need to return to replace the other switches and plugs. Customer has canceled us coming back to replace the other devices that need replaced. I have edited the ticket for the one device replacement.

Reason for today’s visit was to provide pricing to replace three existing floodlights roughly 2 stories in the air. There are currently standard floodlights that are controlled by switches inside of the house. I found that the switch in the kitchen appears to be broken which is not allowing the lights to work. We will need to replace that switch as well as disconnect switch in the basement next to the back walk out. We will then remove the three existing floodlights and install new stealth 360 motion flood lights in their place. Customers interested in white fixtures so that they stand out. We will also install customer supplied ring battery and solar powered camera above the basement back door. Well check in the main panel I noticed that the panel had been recently replaced. And then noticed that the service cable feeding the main panel was still the original cable which looked to be deteriorating. When I open the panel doors I found three breakers that were of a different brand than

Reason for today’s visit was to put the first floor hallway light back up. Or previous visit customer was having an issue with the foyer light and the hallway light tripping the circuit breaker I had found that the sockets were bad in the older fixture which were causing it to short out. I had removed the light so customer could go get it repaired as it is an antique. Customer had the light fixed and I returned today and put the light back up. While on site customer stated they had a receptacle that had some brown marks on it. After inspecting the outlet I found that it was starting to burn off and recommended replacement. The receptacle with the issue was located in the second floor apartment bedroom along the front wall. It also appeared at the outlet was older and had been painted over several times. I replace the receptacle and installed a new tamper resistant one in its place and it is now working properly.
