During my annual inspection of the entire home, I noticed a couple of things that need attention. The outside ground fault receptacles were not weather resistant. The GFCI on the front was smoking when I pressed the test button. The receptacles throughout the home are very old and original to the home which was built in 1983. Some are backstabbed which can cause loose connections over time. I recommend replacing devices throughout the home especially the outside receptacles. Please see attached quote to re-device the whole home minus the exterior receptacles I will be replacing today.
