Addition of GFCI protection in both upstairs bathrooms, first floor bathroom, and near kitchen sink. Replace switch controlling outlet in front living room, and switches near sink. Replaced GFCI in main bedroom bathroom, burnt up receptacle in kitchen, and receptacles and switches near kitchen sink, adding GFCI protection where necessary. Will return Thursday to complete rest of quoted work. Returned today to complete rest of work per quote.

For this job, we came out to replace customer supplied fixtures in the kitchen and in the hallway. We replaced standard toggle switches with dimmer switches for both areas. Additonally, we added a Whole Home Surge Protector on a dedicated breaker inside the panel. Customer enrolled into our VIP Care Plan as well.

Today’s visit was for electrical corrections because of the installation of the new deck. The decking company is pulling a permit and wants the electrical wiring to be brought up to code. Under the deck there was an extension cord that went up the wall into a switch. We disconnected it from the switch and capped it in the box, and he is going to remove the wire himself. The customer still wanted switch controlled power to the exterior outlets, so we would run wire from the switch to the receptacle on the other side of the wall, by replacing the 2 gang box, and install a GFCI with a weather proof box. In our second solution we would install a weather proof metal box, GFCI, and a weather bubble cover under the deck.

This solution includes the replacement of the homes smoke alarms. We have replaced the homes existing smoke alarms. Membership acquired.

This solution includes the installation of 2 receptacles in the master bedroom closet. Also includes removing and replacing the existing closet fixture with a new customer supplied fixture.

- V.I.P Membership - Installation of four new recess lights in the kitchen jumping from previous existing boxes - Removal and replacement of one canned recess light with a Gimbal - Removal and replacement of two upstairs lights and putting recess lights in their place. Reason for today’s visit with the customer was lights that had loss of power for two kitchen lights. Customer expressed interest in getting rid of these lights entirely as she was tired of changing the bulbs and dealing with them. We agreed that four recess lights would go perfectly in the kitchen. We will additionally be changing the old canned recess lights out with a new gimbal style recess light for the coffee area. We will be putting a dimmer on the four new recess lights. There is already a switch leg run up into a box for the older lights. I will be putting a blank on those boxes but jumping the switch leg from them. Reason for today’s visit with the customer was to quote installation of a dedicated circuit for a water heater. Upon arrival I noticed two very full QO panels supporting a 400 AMP Service. Additionally the area where the circuit would go is completed covered in Sheetrock and some of the rooms are unaccessible. Upon digging in further I realized that a senior technician is needed due to the complexity of the circuit run and the high service load currently being used. We will be returning on the 22nd of September to revisit the project and find a way to handle the new 240 volt circuit.

Replacement of old smoke and carbon monoxide detectors with company supplied detectors. Detectors have a 5 year warranty with Haas and Sons Electric and a 10 year manufacturer warranty. We were called out today to look at replacing some smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. I noticed the detectors were starting to yellow and a few chirped on their own indicating that they needed to be replaced. While assessing the panel, I noticed that there was one multi wire branch circuit that was not on a two pole breaker as well as that the panel was lacking surge protection. I gave a solution to address the breaker and add surge protection along with the smoke detectors. The customer was only interested in the smoke and carbon monoxide detectors at this time, but would be interested in the surge protector and breaker in the future. We replaced at total of 9 detectors, 3 Smoke/CO units and 6 Smoke units. 2 smoke, 1 combo in the basement; 1 smoke, 1 combo on the first floor; 3 smokes and 1 combo

- Replacement of a GFCI in the downstairs - Correcting the junction box for the washer - Bonding of the water heater - V.I.P Membership Reason for today’s visit was loss of power to the washer receptacle. Upon inspection I noticed that the the receptacles were the older backstab only style. The line side for the receptacles had backed itself out causing the receptacle to lose power. I suggested replacement with a GFCI due it not previously having any. I also noticed the hot and cold water were not bonded. The customer stated that during their inspection before they moved in they were informed of missing GFCI protection. There was two specific locations that didn’t have it. In additional, the outdoor front receptacles were missing in use covers. The panel is an older cutler hammer that will be needing to be replaced soon. Replace bathroom exhaust fans with new upgraded Panasonic white type fans in the second-floor hallway bathroom as well as the primary bathroom shower area. Replace motor in primary bathroom toilet area Replace motor in powder room Install pushbutton timers in the primary bathroom shower, and toilet area as well as the powder room Install special timer for 2nd floor bath exhaust fan. We will need to return when fan motors and timer switch come in. Returned today and swapped out powder room exhaust fan motor and the master bath toilet room exhaust fan motor.

We have determined that the bathroom receptacles already have gfci protection from the lower level bathroom.

This solution includes the replacement of the attic fan motor. We have replaced the attic fan motor, complete with new thermostat.

Arrived onsite and the resident explained his washer had been tripping the breaker out. I had brendon go up and look at the washer outlet and make sure everything tested good, as well as test continuity on the cord to make sure it wasn’t a bad washer cord. I went to the panel and opened it up and began investigating. We ran several tests from load draw, to trying to figure out how far along in the wash cycle that it was tripping. I found a lack of surge protection in the main panel which i talked to the resident about as well as tested all the dual function breakers and found the washer one wasn’t testing properly and it would trip with nothing hooked up to it, and proved to be a bad breaker. I wrote up a few options and the resident ended up getting the breaker replaced, and whole home surge protection installed to protect everything in the home. Today’s because it was for installing a dedicated circuit for a 240 V water heater. Customer currently has gas water heater and wants to convert to electric. During my assessment, I also saw that there were multi wire branch circuit on single pole breakers, no surge, protection, and a double tapped breaker that was not labeled in the panel. I reviewed everything with the customer, and she agreed to the work below. Installation of new GFCI and switches located throughout the home (3 devices in total). Current GFCI for bathroom does not trip properly nor reset properly. The two bedroom switches will be replaced due to being original and backstabbed currently. Installation of new smoke alarm and carbon monoxide alarm to replace current outdated and missing units in the home. There is one located on the bedroom ceiling and one in the living room. Replace current shared neutral circuit with proper two pole breaker to eliminate over heating and energizing off circuit. Replace current damaged AFCI breaker that is not properly tripping when tested.

Arrived onsite and the resident showed me to the top floor master bathroom where he told me he ordered a bidet, and wants an outlet installed next to the toilet. I checked out the specs of new bidet and it only draws 4 amps at max, so i told him although it can be put on with the existing bathroom line, i still recommend a dedicated circuit. Due to price he asked me to add it off of the existing outlet in the bathroom. I did my performance and safety assessment, checked that the panel had a 20 amp breaker for the bathroom outlet circuit, and in that i found a lack of whole home surge protection as well. I discussed that with him and he didn’t want to get anything but the bidet outlet installed today. He also showed me 2 lights he wanted a quote for, one above the foyer 20+ feet high and another one on the stairs between floors, with 14 ft ceilings. I will be sending the quotes to the resident to get the lighting and surge done, as well as the invoice for today for getting the bidet out
