Installation of a new dedicated circuit for customers treadmill. Current location of treadmill is in garage roughly 5-10 away from the panel. We would install a new 20 amp dedicated circuit through the sheet rock and landing to an outlet under the window.

Reason for today’s visit with the customer was to provide solutions for running a new circuit in the garage. The panel is located in the garage so we will cut open sheet rock and run a new circuit roughly 10 feet away. It will be landed on a GFCI device and a regular breaker will be installed in the garage. We also provided a solution for doing this work and installation of a Surge Protector as this protection is missing from the panel.

Arrived onsite and was shown to the downstairs bathroom where I opened the exhaust fan that was there, cleaned it all out and then talked to the resident about what they wanted to do with that one. The preference downstairs is to get the same model nutone and replace what’s there because it fits the space and will minimize plaster damage. For the upstairs bathroom there is no attic space, and I don’t think the ceiling is tall enough there to put the fan in the ceiling, but there is a side attic that backs up to that bathroom so I made a whole plan to install a wall fan and do all the ducting and wiring in the attic space to minimize the plaster damage, and we would install a Panasonic whisper in the space. The resident wants to cut the ceiling open and see the clearance there to see if it’s a possibility, and he’s fine with the plaster damage upstairs if the fan fits the ceiling. Arrived onsite and the resident explained how her smoke detectors were out of date and most are beeping currently. I went and took a full count and wrote up the option to take care of all of them today, as well as our membership package and she ended up getting both. We removed and installed all of the new smoke detectors, tested and are working properly. We cleaned up and then i wrote it up for her.

The reason for today’s visit was to assess microwave that was tripping the breaker. When we arrived, we attempted turning the microwave on to get the problem to happen again however it never did. We ran the microwave multiple times for minutes at a time and it was running properly. We checked terminations and everything looked good. We even attempted to use a heat gun in the microwave circuit to see if we could simulate the issue and we’re unable to do so. We recommended installation of whole home service protection the main panel as the home does not have any, and we also recommended a replacement of the arc fall breaker as a possible prevention option. Today’s visit was for installing pendant lights in the kitchen, which totaled four altogether. We had also missed devices from when we were here prior that needed to be replaced. Heavy up of 400 amp service upgrade Remove and replace all switches and receptacles throughout home Install nest smoke detector on each floor Friday, 22nd Nov. Completed first floor redevice (Bedroom, office, living room, kitchen, mud room, sun room). Will redevice outside receptacles, as well as finish dining room redevice on Monday. Circuit repair will need to be done on switch controlling mud room bathroom and switch in dining room. Will complete heavy up on Monday. Monday, 25th Nov. Completed installation of two Leviton 200 amp panels with 2 Vortexx surge protectors. Installed 400 amp meter. Ran both 4/0 service cables in parallel to meter. Installed 5 Google Nest smoke/CO detectors throughout home. Replaced remaining devices that were missed. Installed Caseta Pico switch in dining room to repair circuit, as well as repaired switch to bathroom in mud room. Ready for inspection.

Arrived onsite and took a look at all the projects she wanted to get done from recess in the dining room, to the ceiling fans they wanted in each of the bedrooms upstairs, as well as removing one recess on the wrap around porch, putting a barbox in and converting it to a ceiling fan. As i was walking around doing my performance and safety assessment i found a number of things i went over with her, helped her understand, and then wrote an estimate to address as well from redevicing the entire home, to adding bonding at the hot water heater, to adding whole home surge protection at the main panel. They will call in and let us know what they would like done.

Today’s visit was for annual maintenance inspection. During assessment, I saw a few things of note that needed to be addressed. Customers panel was just replaced and solar installed. Panel is already starting to show signs of rust at the bottom. I believe the moisture barrier should be replaced. Also, the panel was labeled incorrectly. I corrected the circuits I worked on. The customer is having the solar company come out to address the other issues. While on-site, I saw sump pumps and washer were not GFCI protected, there was a receptacle upstairs that had an open ground, and no surge protection present. Please see below for work performed. The reason for today’s visit was to assess power loss to the garage, laundry, room, lights, and the living room Receptacles. No troubleshooting, we begin unplugging devices and turning switches off. Reset the breaker and the power was restored. We went through and turned everything back on until we got to the switch that went to the post light, which is located in the front right corner of the garage, we took the wires and found that there was continuity neutral And the hotwire. When we took apart the post light, we found that the wires were cut extremely short into the bottom of the post, and there was no post headlight on it whatsoever. The customer decided to cut the wires off and disconnect the post so power could be restored. Troubleshooting, we did notice that the panels were older 1983 Bryant panels with several different types of breakers mismatched inside. Many of the breakers are difficult to turn off and turn back on indicating it is time for them to be replaced. Due to the

This solution includes the installation of 4 customer supplied light fixtures and the replacement of a dimmer switch. We have replaced the light fixtures in the foyer, 2nd floor landing, pantry and closet area. New dimmer switch installed too.

Installation of two new outdoor fixture rated boxes for sub-basement closet where customer would like to have a new switch to control the current pull chain light fixtures. Fixtures are currently have power fed by way of old rusted conduit where as new installation would be ran in UF due to area having heavy moisture. With installation of new boxes and new switch, adding two new non-pull chain keyless fixture mounts to go on those boxes. Installation of new 15 amp homeline breaker due to current breaker showing signs of failure and over heating. Replacement of current neutral shared circuit with required 2-pole breaker in sub panel.

I removed and replaced the receptacle in the entertainment center that was Energized by circuit 19 in the main electrical panel the receptacle had a wire that had a cut in it due to poor installation in the receptacle in the wire was pinched which was hitting the metal box causing it to ground out I Cut out the damage wire then I spliced all the appropriate wires together and pigtail office splice then hooked the single wire on the new receptacle clamp the wire down then Tightened the screw on the device. This is to ensure the best possible connection and the safest possible connection in the termination for the receptacle

As a result of the fire we will have to replace the panel with a new unit along with the meter can and service cable coming from the meter and overhead down to the meter and run new ground wire to the main water and install binding for the electrical system of the home. We will replace all breakers and Eliminate burnt wires from the wall and panel and run new ones
