Quoted installation for a 50 AMP Spa Pack. We noticed other electrical safety hazards at the panel and in the service cable. We provided three quotes but ultimately the service cable is too big of an issue for us to proceed without handling that as well so correcting that was included in all of the quotes. The spa pack would run through the ceiling above the bar then into the utility room where it would then poke through the outside of the storage room and be mounted beside the water source. Customer at this time is reviewing pricing.

Reason for today’s visit is to provide pricing and options for installing power for a customers car charger. My first solution is to install a weather existent 50 amp plug on the side of the home roughly 20 foot from the panel in which we will pipe out of the unfinished basement and down the wall. Customer would like us to run a circuit able to handle 100 A so that if he upgrades to the larger 80 amp charger it will already be there. In order to do this we will have to set a weather resistant junction box underneath of the new charger and step the wire down to be able to install The wire on the 50 amp receptacle. The second solution is to run a new 100 amp circuit from the main panel out to a post next to the driveway. The run is roughly 63 feet underground. We will then install a 4 x 4 pressure treated post and install customer supplied charger.

I removed 200 amp seu cable due to it being crack and at that point it allows water to flow through the sheathing into the electrical panel I replaced it with a new 200 amp SEU cable I ran a new cold water ground from the main electrical panel to outside then drilled back into the home under the steps and connected my #4 ground wire to the mater water pipe within 5 feet of the entrance of the water line I bonded the home at the water heater I installed 2 8 foot ground rods outside of home. They are 6 feet apart then i ran a #4 ground wire from one to the other then into the electrical panel in a continuous loop I separated all the grounds and double tapped neutrals according to the national electrical code All neutrals are under their own screw terminals I installed a add a lug for the oven circuits neutral I installed a ultra whole home surge protector and installed a 2 pole 50 amp qo square d electrical breaker to power the surge protector. This surge protector was installed

I re deviced the upstairs lighting circuit. I installed new switches and new tamper resistant receptacles. Customers powder room on main level receptacle as well as both outdoor outlets are not working. Found a gfci in basement that was working but not sending power to rest of circuit and needed to be replaced. Also the outdoor outlets are not weather resistant and have bad gaskets around them letting water get inside and should also be replaced. Both outside outlets were replaced with weather resistant gfcis and new heavy duty in use cover to be code compliant. Main gfci to left of panel was replaced with a new gfci. The powder room receptacle was just replaced by homeowner and is black in color so it was re installed after re wiring of the device and basement bath was replaced with new gfci. Now anytime one of the gfcis trip at any location only that device will turn off allowing the rest of the circuit to continue being used. Verified proper operation of all completed work with customer.

Customer called about inspection corrections The home gfci in the basement under the main electrical panel was damaged. But the outside receptacles that were on the load side were rusted and beyond repair. So I went through that circuit which was two outlets outside on the 1st floor, 1 under the electrical panel and all of the bathrooms throughout the home and in each box I spliced all the hots together and the neutrals together and the grounds together then pigtailed off the splice and installed a tamper resistant GFCI in each location and line sided it through. This makes the locations gfci protected and will send power throughout the circuit only tripping the gfci that’s effected with a fault. The outside devices are tamper resistant weather resistant GFCIs with in use bubble covers over them and siliconed for the best protection against weather and water damage I also went into the main electrical panel and installed a ground bar allowing room to free up all the double tapped n
