Dennis and his apprentice were amazing. From the moment they placed their mat on my front step they were complete professionals and did excellent work. I needed an overhead light placed where there was no existing electrical work. Upon inspection of my home they made some safety recommendations (we are talking a 1957 rancher here with some older stuff in it) and upgrades. Same day of service call they upgraded some melting wiring in my electric box, replaced my fire alarm, and started work on installing an outside outlet. They returned a couple days later and installed the light and ensure I was happy and comfortable with everything every step of the way. They answered all of my questions and were very knowledgeable. Any electric work I need in the future I hope to get Dennis and his team again!

Installation of new light fixture located in the living room. Currently there is no lighting source and only a switch controlled outlet. We would remove the two gang switch box and run a new switch leg out to a ceiling fan joist box. After running the new switch leg out we would replace the switches with new Ivory devices and hang supplied fixture. To hang the fixture and run the new leg out we would utilize the small access inside of the bedroom closet. Price does not reflect any drywall or paint repairs. Installation of two new BR AFCI/GFCI breakers. Breakers currently are tripping constantly and causing power loss to the dishwasher and the washing machine no matter the load. We will replace the devices on each circuit and replace with properly wiring around the terminals vs back stabbed devices.

Today’s visit was to replace the existing service with a new 40 space Square D QO panel. We installed a moisture barrier for additional support, a disconnect, ran a new service cable for the overhead service, installed surge protection, and updated the grounding and bonding. The cold water was under the sink in the kitchen which we had to cut three holes to get from point A to point B. We also bonded the water heater as well. Today we arrived onsite and the homeowner showed us the pre-move in inspection from before purchasing the house and gave us the rundown on his main concerns. We started our inspection of the electrical system at the panel, where we found a few issues, including: corrosion on the bus bar, some breakers that had taken on heat damage, lack of surge protection, double-tapped breakers, and a wire that was melted at the breaker connection. We ran a full load and amp probe test to ensure the circuit was not over-drawing power. The circuit did seem to be drawing a normal amount, and the damage must have been caused in the past. We also checked the devices throughout the home, interior and exterior. We made note that some of the devices did not have proper grounding and the homeowner made us aware that he may be considering a re-device in the future.
