I have used the services of this company 4 times. 1.They installed exhaust fans in both bathrooms. 2. They connected my portable generator to my electrical panel box. 3. They installed a new ceiling fan and removed the old one. 4. They replaced my 36 inch, glass and stainless steel kitchen range exhaust fan. 5. They replaced my outdoor electrical outlet. Arrived onsite today where customer told us that their main upstairs hall light had stopped working after a recent removal/replacement of their attic insulation. We started our inspection by pulling the fixture and confirming correct voltage across all wiring. Customer had another ceiling fixture they wanted us to put in its place if the voltage checked out and was working correctly, they were not interested in any other work at this time. We removed the previous damaged fixture and then hung the new LED fixture in its place. New fixture is working properly.

-Arrived onsite and the resident showed us that recently they had their keurig plugged in, and the cord was on the back of the toaster oven, and someone ran the toaster oven and it burned through the keurig cord and tripped and killed the gfci. The keurig cord is now out of use, the toaster oven has a clear mark where it melted through, and the gfci on the countertop is dead. Passing power through we found it was just damaged at that point, and i went about telling him how to divide the load amongst the 2 countertop circuits, and did my performance and safety assessment. With it being a fairly newer house the only thing i found was the lack of whole home surge protection at the main panel, which i wrote up options for. After presenting, he didn’t want the membership or any additional work today, only the gfci replaced so the countertop power would be restored, so that’s what we did. After it was installed we verified it had power and is working correctly, then cleaned up. replace c

Reason for todays visit with the customer was replacing an attic fan. The original request was to replace the motor in the old one and keep the same hardware besides that. Due to the age the old one broke off during disassembly. We then reached out to the customer and let him know. The customer decided to go with a new gable fan installation. We installed the new gable fan and everything was working upon our departure. We also installed a service switch where the old thermostat was. New fan comes with a One Year Warranty.

We will install a new 150 amp overhead service cable to replace the damaged overhang in cable. We will have to pull an electrical permit and coordinate county inspections for the new tie in.

As always, Haas & Sons specialist arrived promptly (at the early end of the time slot) assessed my remaining questions and concerns and effectively installed the lighting appliance they helped me order.
