For this job, I came out to assess an older Casablanca ceiling fan not functioning. Proper voltage coming in to switch and going out of switch to fan, confirmed with my multimeter. I suggest the customer procure a new fan, as the charge to pull the old one down to further troubleshoot is the same as replacing and with it being an older fan with a built in receiver that can’t be replaced and with the remote not working, it’s in the best interest to have a new one on site when I pull the old one down.

We replaced all of the exterior receptacles with WRTR GFCI and new in use covers, demoed flood lights on back porch and extended (2) circuits to outside on basement patio and installed new WRTR GFCI’s with in use covers. We still need to obtain a Brushed Nickel floor plate receptacle cover and receptacle for replacement. We are to return to replace once our replacement arrives at shop. For this job, we came out to perform an annual maintenance inspection where we went over all the items on the list. We estimated work that we strongly suggested, be done for safety reasons being the service replacement as the panel was full with tandems, (2) AC circuits requiring 30A 240V breaker each were double tapped on a 40A 240V, there was no surge protection and loose connections on the breakers that I was ab

I had a lot of behind the wall issues. After trying 2 contractors I knew it was time for a certified electrician. Each contractor left a trail of loose wiring and piggyback wiring that didn’t look correct to me. Which is saying a lot, as I do not do anything electrical. I contacted several electrical companies and I decided on Haas and Sons. Best decision ever! Quick response and explained how their service works. What to expect when the service technician arrives. Was even understanding about my concerns from prior contractors and I had an appointment within days. Alex the service tech was very professional and explained everything to me, in a way I could understand. Cleaned up after himself, which is a plus and before he left made sure I was satisfied with his service. I can now go to sleep tonight and not worry about what light or outlet is going to give out next. I highly recommend Haas and Sons to my family and friends.
