Upon, looking in the panel I observed a few necessary electrical updates including no Whole Home Surge Protection, double tapped breakers needing to be separated and improperly wired multi wire branch circuits. I remediated all of the electrical hazards in the panel by adding surge protection, single pole breakers to split the double tapped breakers as well as replacing the single pole breakers with 2 pole breakers to remediate the improperly wired multi wire branch circuits. Today we went ahead and disconnected the ballast and the lights and installed new 8 foot high output LED 120 V tubes in their place. We noticed that the main GFCI outlet next to the panel would not reset and it was broken.
