I took a look at the device and noticed that it was a decently aged 2-prong receptacle. zThe homeowner told me that the house was built in 1957, and some things had been updated in the home, including the main electrical panel. I took a look at the main panel as well, and it seemed in great condition. Today I recommended adding surge protection to the panel, adding GFCI protection for the washer/utility sink receptacles, and a redevice of the areas of the home that have yet to have any updated devices. The homeowner declined a solution for those items at this time, however I did provide solutions to redevice the affected bedroom with our VIP care plan included, Ms. Chris said that she would consider these at a later date. We will remove the existing 400 amp disconnect and install (2) customer supplied disconnects over the existing ports going into the trough. We will supply the PV labels to be installed on the new disconnects. We will bring out some scrap 4/0 alum wire in the event any of the conductors needs to be replaced due to being too short. Power will be out while this work is being performed. The stickers are on order. I will reach out once received to schedule the work. Once completed, we can call back in for inspection. Remove dangling devices hanging in the garage and surface mount two new GFCI to the wall in their place.

While performing my safety assessment, I saw a multiwire branch circuit not on the correct two pole breaker in the main panel, and a lack of surge protection. Assessing the bathroom, I opened up the 3-gang switch bank controlling the light in bathroom, and saw that all the switches were starting to break and were backstabbed. One of the switches was completely broken, but we were unable to determine what this switch controlled. Due to the nature of the install, I would temporarily remove the mirror, allowing me to cut the dry wall behind the mirror to run my wires from the current fixture box. This would allow me to conceal any cuts I would have to do in the drywall.
