Install jbox and extend cut wire Customer had plumbers open up the wall to install new drain lines for a washer and then doing so they cut the wire going to the refrigerator. I was able to pull the wire back and install a junction box on the opposite side of the wall where the washer and dryer located. I installed roughly a 2 foot jumper wire from the junction box to the existing receptacle and splice it through. Once complete completed everything is back up and running.

For this job, we came out for a flickering light in the bathroom and found a loose connection on the switch causing the intermittent issue. Opened up a few more devices and determined there was a pattern of the “backstab” wiring method throughout. Then they had another power loss at their island receptacles, it was on with the old boiler breaker they had off. We regained power there after resetting the breaker, and we put a blank plate on the old emergency switch. They are replacing the dock in summer, so we will be here for the electrical quotes then. Lastly they had a fire due to a flare set off by somebody that landed in their yard, and it melted the pvc and the scuba panel outside. We wrote a solution to replaced that. It would also require us to drive ground rods for the sub panel.
