Reason for today’s visit with the customer was diagnosing loss of power of a single pier receptacle. Upon investigation none of the breakers or GFCI’s were tripped. The PVC that the line is run in runs underneath the pier towards a pier breaker box mounted at the end of the pier. We are unsure at this time if there is a junction box that has failed connections in it or if the breaker that connects to the line has failed. We plan to return to do extended diagnostics to take apart the pier panel and check the PVC connections underneath the pier. Resident will reach out to the office for scheduling.
Install new dedicated 60 amp circuit for main panel in the basement up to the garage wall. We will be returning on Friday to install a customer supplied hardwired charger. 3/21 Returned today and installed customer supplied hardwire charger. Charger is up and running.

Reason for today’s visit with the customer was replacing three carbon alarms and four smoke alarms. Reason for replacement was due to age and nearing end of life. Inside the panels we noticed six circuits that were multi-fed but not sharing a common throw handle. Three were 15 amp and three were 20 amp. The panels were also missing whole home surge protectors. Our recommendations were replacing all smoke and carbon alarms, implementing six two pole breakers to fix the multi-feeds, and finally installing a Vortex Surge Protector in each panel.
This solution includes the installation of a new security light at shed. This includes an integrated LED light fixture. Also includes whole home surge protection for basement panel. Membership activated during this visit.

As always, Haas & Sons specialist arrived promptly (at the early end of the time slot) assessed my remaining questions and concerns and effectively installed the lighting appliance they helped me order. Installation worked as planned and with his guidance I was able to activate Ring software quickly. Install was done in an hour. I appreciate prompt service as a club member.
