Arrived onsite to a dishwasher that was hardwired and the resident was told by the appliance guys that they couldn’t hook it up without an outlet in place. I wrote up the option to get the outlet installed, and also found the new dishwasher didn’t come with a cord so i ended up supplying that as well and getting it prepped for hookup for them. I installed a w/p box, w/p gfci, and then restored power and tested and everything is working properly. When the appliance guys show up, they can just hook up to the appliance cord, and plug and play from there.
We have determined that the wiring from septic alarm to septic pump and float switch should be replaced. Also breaker controlling this circuit needs to be replaced.
We have performed the electrical inspection. We recommend a new panel to be installed.
Arrived onsite and was shown the pad for the spa, and then went and looked at the path in the basement. IT would have to snake all around the basement, come up in the garage, and then out the back of the garage to a spa disconnect, and then to the tub. But there is no room in the main electrical panel and that has several hazards inside it as well as corrosion, so we had a talk about the main panel as well. I am going to write up a quote to run the hot tub feed and do the panel upgrade to a newer panel.
The reason for today’s visit with the customer was to quote installation on a EV charger receptacle. Customer has a 200 amp Homeline panel from 2009. In the panel I saw no signs of extra hazards such as double tapped neutrals or double taps. Customer advised he ordered a new EV charger for his Ford Lightning and he only needed an exterior receptacle and cover installed. Solutions today provided for an exterior EV 50 amp receptacle with cover and a 50 amp GFCI breaker to supply power. Customer advised he has had other quotes for this job and will call back if interested in moving forward.

Installation worked as planned and with his guidance I was able to activate Ring software quickly. Install was done in an hour. I appreciate prompt service as a club member.
