The reason for today’s visit was powerloss. When we arrived we saw a 100 amp cloth wired service. The service was fully detached from the wall and the top of the home where point of entry was. We saw that the panel had heavy over heating and melted wires along with 3 breakers that are currently disconnected, melted and burnt on the bus bar showing major damage. We began assessing the damage in the panel and saw that the rooms affected were the reason we were called out. After talking to home owner, we began with the panel replacement as well as letting the home owner know of the process. The major concern is the bedroom in the loft no longer has AC and this circuit is one of the many affected. We gave the process of repair as well as recommended on installing a dedicated circuit for the ac and laundry. At this time customer would like to review and reach out if deciding to move forward.

Replace fan control in front bedroom The reason for today’s visit was to replace a ceiling fan remote control box as well as the wall switch. Customer already purchased a remote set up which day are we had to do was replace it. Once replaced fan is working properly.
Replace 1 20a arc fault Replace 1 20 a duel function Today we found two faulty breaker’s. One breaker was controlling the dining room circuit, which had a mini fridge as well as an espresso machine. Once we replace the breaker, everything was holding fine. Second location was for the dishwasher. Soon as I plugged in anything with the larger load in the dishwasher it would trip immediately. However, the dishwasher itself was needing to run about a half a psycho before with trip off. I replace that breaker is well and everything is now holding properly.
Today’s visit is for a sort of honey-do list of items that needed to be done around the house. Gave customer multiple options that I was unable to go over due to the call being cut short. Nick arrived on time, masked, and promptly put on shoe coverings before walking through our home to access the electrical panel. He took the time to explain how he would diagnose the problem and patiently answered our many inquiries without making us feel inadequate for asking so many questions. When he diagnosed the problem, we were pleasantly surprised when he told us the problem was a far less expensive issue than we had anticipated. We anticipated thousands of dollars in upgrades and he explained the issue was likely a far simpler, less expensive one. When he completed his work, he vacuumed up the dust and wiped down the floor and wall. The price was as quoted with no unwelcome surprises.
