Arrived onsite and was shown to the bathrooms where all of them had normal outlets, except the basement which seemed to be on a gfci. He showed us and was telling us that it wasn’t resetting and sparked when he tried a while back. We ended up pulling the bath outlets and found the neutral burned off the device. After finding the other outlets were older and installed incorrectly, i was able to pass through power at the basement and confirm the post light is working, via a photocell as well. I talked to the resident and recommended replacing all the devices on the circuit, and that is what we ended up doing. New TR GFCI in the basement bath, and new TR outlets in all the other bathrooms. Once i restored power, I confirmed they were all working correctly.
Installed whole home surge protection at the main panel and install a new 50 amp CH breaker in the top left space for the new surge protector. We also inspected main panel for loose connections, as well as any signs of damage from the surge that I’d hit their home a few months back.
Provide a pricing install the customer supplied level two hardwired car charger in the garage. We also provided pricing install whole home search protection in the main panel at the time of the install as well as an electrical permit for the work to be completed.
