This solution includes the bypassing of the photocell, wire repair at junction with photocell and the installation of a new GFCI to now protect only those exterior lights at wall near garage. We have installed a new gfci to protect the outside lighting. This shall prevent the fridge receptacle from tripping. In addition we have bypassed the photocell at wall near garage.

Reason for today’s visit was to check power loss to the living room. One investigating issue I found burnt up backstabbed devices in the living room. Home was wired in the late 80s and backstab only devices were used. This means that these devices are unable to have tight connections by screw down terminals. The entire home has these devices throughout. Backstab devices have we connections in cause the devices to overheat internally. This causes the connections to become weak and eventually break apart resulting in power loss or worse. To remedy this issue we would recommend re-device in the entire home. To remedy the power Lost in the living room the living room receptacles will need to be re-device. We replaced the three receptacles located in the living room and power was restored. We recommend not using space heaters or anything else with heating elements in them on backstab devices. Space heaters should have dedicated circuits for use. #review

Reason for today’s visit was to troubleshoot hardwired sauna in the backyard that is not working. I tested the voltage and everything is reading properly. I’m getting 245 V inside the unit and 122.5 on each leg to ground. When the unit is turn on nothing happens it does not heat up. This is a warranty issue with the sauna itself. #review

Reason for today’s visit was to repair power loss to second-floor hallway light as well as the bedroom ceiling fan light. While troubleshooting I found that the hallway light on the second floor was getting power but the three-way working from the top of the stairs at the dimmer down to the foyer three-way was not working properly. I also found that the fan has a short in the light kit which is causing the light to not work properly. The fan will need to be replaced because it is the harness itself that has the defect. We replaced the dimmer at the top of the stairs as well as the three switches at the front door. This repaired the issue with the second-floor light. While on site we check to see if we could move the thermostat in the second-floor hallway into the master bedroom on the wall above the switch. The wire is not long enough for us to relocate the thermostat which means the wire will need to be replaced. To do so the new wire will need to be wired into the furnace itself in t
