I have used this company multiple times because of there efficiency and reasonable cost.
Customers called in Friday morning because of water running out of the bottom of the main breaker box in the basement utility room. When i arrived on site I found a puddle underneath panel as well as water inside the bottom of the panel and running inside the main breaker as well as the branch circuit breakers. I found that the water issue was coming from the weather head on top of the meter can. When the meter was installed the original installer used a rubber fitting that was too big and didnâ€™t tighten around the wire securely. After heavy rains this season the water found its way into the meter can and ran inside the wire running to the main panel in the basement. I removed the main panel and all the breakers as well as the service entrance cable and the meter can. The wire was corroded on the inside as well as around the terminations in the meter socket. I installed a new 200 amp main breaker QO series panel with all new matching breakers. I installed a new service entrance cabl
The following quote is for the following work. -remove and replace bath fan in basement -install timer for bath fan in basement -basement lights(replace 3 ballasts and 5 bulbs) -replace battery in alarm system(customer provided) -replace faulty switch for garage exterior light -replace 3 bulbs in exterior fixtures Returned and installed all ballasts and bulbs except for one fixture which is missing the mounting hardware for the fixture. Homeowner was unable to locate part.
Removed all 2 prong outlets and outdated switches and replaced with new devices. Locations are as follows. -all bedrooms excluding master bed -switch at top of steps -all living room plugs and dated switches -the side bump out room plugs -2 kitchen gfcis -broken 3 way at back door -broken timer for front exterior light -basement rec room -switch at top of basement steps for furnace -sump pump audible gfci -washer gfci -new dryer receptacle Also removed 3 smoke detectors (one on each level) and replaced with a carbon/smoke combo detector. Installed a new pull chain fixture above panel. Installed 2 pole breakers on shared neutral circuits., bonded hot and cold water pipes at water heater. Still need to return to install a breaker on bedroom circuits. Will call to schedule once breaker is received.
We have installed a dedicated 240V circuit for hot tub.
Ceiling fan in 1st bedroom on left was not working. Removed old fan and installed a new customer provided fan in its place. Verified proper operation of all completed work with customer.
